Overpopulation is defined as the condition of having a population so dense as to cause environmental deterioration, an impaired quality of life, or a population crash. Considering some of the most heavily populated countries, such as China and India, also have a majority of the population suffer from some form of environmental deterioration such as the degradation of China's Yellow and South China Seas due to land on part of China's coastal development such as the South China Sea's problem with over fishing. Also considering that the Earth can only provide a certain amount of finite resources to the ever growing infinite needs and wants of the human population. Overpopulation is thus an issue that needs to be addressed due to the scope of overpopulation's effect on the world and its inhabitants.
