Chicago has actually experienced a decline in its own population as “The city of Chicago gained just under 6,000 residents in the year that ended” showing an improvement when considering how population growth would negatively affect the population as a whole. While Chicago experienced a small growth in population such a turn can be helpful when considering the city of Chicago can assist other cities across America to deal with overpopulation. Possible examples of help coming from Chicago would be obvious ways of assistance such as government loans but a much better method would be awareness through citizens of both Chicago and another city working alongside one another in an effort to assist with issues created by a largely ignored population. Even if the idea of Chicago being able to help fellow cities sounds impossible creating awareness to population related problems would be possible as a means of assistance.
